  • Coming soon: A6Lite, New Update, Forum?

Hello all, I hope you've been enjoying A6Plus! I do apologize for any bugs that you've encountered (like most things, you fix one thing and 3 other bugs pop up). Currently I'm aware of envelopes misbehaving for some users. I'm going to put out a big update next week; I've got a busy few days…

  • A6Plus Beta 1.1.2 is now Available!

Hello everyone! A6Plus Beta 1.1.2 is now on the website, which should fix a “hanging notes” bug that many were encountering in Beta 1.0, and also adds an experimental new highest-pressure Polyphonic Aftertouch mode, though this is untested as I don't have a Poly AT keyboard. The base Andromeda only supports mono aftertouch, so this mode…

  • Hello!

Thanks for supporting me in this project. It's been super exciting getting to work on new firmware for the Andromeda, bringing the powerful engine new life to keep the A6 relevant for years to come! This has been a passion project of mine. I, like many, was constantly frustrated by the Andromeda's bugs. The firmware…

Gordon at GT Synthware

Hello! I'm Gordon! I'm a huge synthesizer nerd from the Midwest who loves using synths in scores for films and video games, and occasionally makes indie pop and rock music  I'm a recent grad from the University of Nebraska. What started as a happy accident has now become a major passion of mine, giving back to the synthesizer community and keeping old synths relevant for years to come!

FAQ:

What's your favorite synthesizer you've ever owned?

Oberheim Xpander. Absolutely loved that thing and it inspired the stereo voice spread mode in A6Plus. My only Obie I've ever owned. I would love to get my hands on a Matrix-12 someday.

What other synths can we expect firmware for?

I currently own several other synths, including a Tauntek Roland Jupiter-6, DSI Poly Evolver, Ensoniq SD-1, Ensoniq Mirage, Ensoniq ESQ-1, and Korg Prologue. I'll happily look into making more firmware for these synths, and whatever else I end up acquiring in the future, both vintage and modern!

Will this brick my machine?

Probably not, but please see my Disclaimer.
